I haven't gotten the validation email. What should I do?

Many people with Comcast accounts report having trouble validating their email. It appears that Comcast blocks Swaylock's emails. It appears this is not a problem experienced only by swaylock's. You can read about it here, and here.

Unfortunately, the best way to handle this is to use a different email account to register (ie. gmail, yahoo mail, etc.) or, if you are up to the fight, contact Comcast and request them to stop blocking Swaylock's emails.

If you haven't gotten your validation email (even after you've tried having us "resend" it), try the following:

  1. First check your bulk mail or junk mail folder -- it may be in there. (spam filters usually put unrecognized emails in a temporary folder of some sort. If it's in there, you may should consider adding Swaylock's to your safe list. More on that below).
  2. Make sure all of your spam filters are set to receive email from Swaylock's. To do that, add the following two addresses to your "Safe List" support at swaylocks.com and admin at swaylocks.com (use @ symbol). After you add Swaylock's to your safelist, send another validation email to yourself by logging in using the username & password you registered with.
  3. Check to see if your inbox is full. If it is full, you may need to delete some existing emails in order to receive new ones. After deleting emails, try logging in to have a validation email resent.
  4. To check whether you registered with the right email account, try re-registering. If you submitted that email address the first time, the system will inform you that the email address is in use by another account.
