Here in my home town we have a local surfer who ripped back in the 80s in the same predicament.  One of the top surfers around 20 years ago.  A few bad decisions left him with a bullet lodged in his spine and  left him barely able to walk with canes.  He drags his surf kayak down to the water and surfs.  Its an inspiration to watch and a reminder of the  dangers that drugs pose to our youth.

Thanks for showing us that  we have lots to be thankful for !!

It sure beats "LAME" claims of hero status by certain individuals !!

Next time somebody whinges about the lack of surf,or makes claims

about cold solo sessions,think of "Michael".

     Howzit Brother Herb, Amen to that, the thing is the cancer was incurable by western medicine standards. I was told by my radiation people that I would never be able to rid muy body of the radiation from the treatments. Then I met a lady who was once a western medicine doctor but she saw through the BS and now uses eastern medicine cures and gave me instructions on how to get the radiation out of my body. All I can say is I no longer get a metalic taste in my mouth or strange tigling sinsations anymore.
